Traditional Afternoon Tea
An Afternoon Tea is a quintessentially British experience. Tracing it’s roots back to the 1840s, the Duchess of Bedford, Anna Russell, was feeling quite peckish in between lunch and dinner so she asked for some refreshments. Thus, afternoon tea was born!
And today, we’ll follow in the Duchess’ footsteps with our own afternoon tea at the Ritz. I’ve made a booking for 3:30-5:30pm on the 14th April for 15 people. This number can be adjusted but should accommodate those who have expressed interest so far.
