Since this is the day many people are arriving, I’ll be arranging and early-ish dinner and wine tasting in Balham.
Dinner will be at 5pm at The Bedford, a historic pub and hotel built in the 1870s.
Following dinner (at 7pm), we’ll head to The Wine Tasting Shop around the corner for a tasting of British Wines and cheeses.

Currently The Bedford does 50% off meals on Tuesdays and I expect that to continue into the new year. The menu might change slightly but here’s the current one if you’re curious about pricing and options.
Wine and Cheese Tasting
I’m working with my local wine shop to coordinate a British wine and cheese tasting night. There will be two reds and two whites to taste, plus cheese and nibbles paired with each. I’m aiming to keep it around £45 (USD$56.70) each but it might be cheaper depending on how many people we have.
