London Walking Tour

I’m so excited about this day! I’ve been following Jack for years on Instagram and got to meet him this year when he moderated a talk with another author and historian, Alice Loxton.

I’ve reached out to Jack to host a private walking tour for us on the 9th April and although he can’t officially confirm until four months out, he has tentatively held the date. I’m aiming for a 10am start that should wrap up at noon. I will plan pub drinks for after the tour if anyone is keen, otherwise, I tried to make this one an earlier start so people have the rest of the day to explore on their own.

Jack’s tours always sell out immediately and I’m so excited to go on one. Tours are limited to 20 people though, so please let me know early if you’re interested in joining.

Covent Garden Walking Tour

Covent Garden is an area that pretty much all Londoners and visitors to the city will be familiar with- or so they think.

It is an area defined over the centuries for its spectacle with the riotous street performances, grand theatres and restaurants giving it an unmistakable buzz.

On this tour we will be going 'behind the scenes' and pulling back the curtain on Covent Garden's hidden corners, uncovering its secrets, stories and scandals.

We will visit London's oldest surviving theatre, a plague burial ground and the scene of a brutal murder, as well as meet some of the incredible characters whose lives are entangled in the story of Covent Garden from pimps and 'barra-boys' to blind magistrates and inspirational activists.

Meeting place:
Outside Covent Garden Tube station on James Street

Ends:
Floral Street

Cost: £25 (USD $32) per person
Capacity: 20 people (FULL!)

But if you want to join the waitlist, please still sign up for it on the survey and I will let you know closer to the date if a spot opens up.
